20 years of the "IM BLAUEN HAUS" private museum

His intense loyalty to and love of Appenzell tradition and cultural creativity led Hermann Fässler Senior to collect Appenzell items for years, items which have been fondly put on display in various rooms by his sons Hermann, Kläus and Urs at "IM BLAUEN HAUS" on Weissbadstrasse. They give visitors an idea of the Appenzell tradition, lifestyle and work. The variety is unbelievable and is probably a one-of-its-kind assemblage of utility and decorative items and a rare collection of elaborate works by Appenzell artists and farmhouse painters. This private museum - something you really want to see - is a true treasure for all fans of Appenzell culture.

To mark the 20th anniversary of the museum "IM BLAUEN HAUS" all interested clubs, companies and organisations are cordially invited by Hermann Fässler Söhne AG to an aperitif at the Museum.
